Nicci Roscoe, Inspirational Speaker, Executive Coach and a keen supporter of the Grace Children’s Village, Uganda project talks at a special event at The Rose Club, London on April 12th 2013.

You are invited to a Project Visitors and Volunteers Programme Launch where you can ask questions in a relaxed environment at The Rose Club. We will share stories about how the project is impacting the GCV community and how you can get ‘hands on’ and involved. You will get to meet a handful of recent visitors and volunteers, who can share their experiences.  We will also be sharing some hot-off-the-press adventures you might want to combine a trip with!

The fabulous Nicci Roscoe will be inspiring us with her motivational messages.
Grace Children’s Village is a project in Uganda focused on poverty alleviation and opportunity creation, with an ultimate goal of achieving self sufficiency. Since 2009, a demonstration farm, comprising crops and animals (pigs, goats, cows and chickens), has been helping to improve farming techniques used by local farmers resulting in improved yields. A school was opened in 2010 and this year between 130-160 children will be being educated and 21 adults are employed at the project. Through 2011-2012 we have been supporting local entrepreneurs through our ‘field-to-mouth’ pig breeding programme and have launched a microfinance fund in December 2012 to further enable local community members to break their way out of poverty.

There’s no charge for this event, so don’t be shy and bring your friends!  The Rose Club have extended the invitation to stay on and enjoy the party afterwards.
